This month, Graham Norton announces a celebrity takeover, replacing him as host of his own program…

This month’s Graham Norton Show will be a little different because the presenter who inspired it will not be hosting it.
The BBC is temporarily replacing Graham Norton, despite his importance to the programming.
I suppose this is an excellent illustration of how self-titled concerts may cause problems in the long term, isn’t it?
Norton has been hosting The Graham Norton Show since 2007, during which he has interviewed hundreds of celebrities. However, another BBC celebrity will take up the talk show titan’s role at the end of February.
Rest assured, Norton’s superiors have not abandoned him; he is simply relocating to Australia.
The 61-year-old is taking an extended hiatus from his long-running show to go to Australia for his live tour, An Evening With Graham Norton.
He revealed the news during an episode of The Graham Norton Show that aired in early January, where Tom Hiddleston, Claudia Winkleman, Brie Larson, Billy Porter, and Myles Smith sat on his famed sofa.
In March, Norton will make stops in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, and Melbourne as part of his eagerly anticipated tour.
The Father Ted actor will discuss his latest book and offer ‘hilarious anecdotes from his celebrity-studded sofa,’ as well as a Q&A with fans.
Although that’s still a few weeks away, Norton is headed to Australia in February to make the most of his vacation and take some well-deserved time off.
While the presenter is away sunbathing, fans won’t miss their weekly dose of The Graham Norton Show, as one of his celebrity buddies will fill in for him.\
Rather than suspending production, the BBC has appointed Queen Claudia Winkleman as his substitute.
When Norton disclosed that she would cover him when she was a guest on the program, Winkleman answered with a funny, “I apologize in advance!”
The Traitors actor will take his place on February 28th, but just for one episode.
It’s not the first time Winkleman has done Norton a favor; she also helped him when he left BBC Radio 2 in 2021.
The Strictly Come Dancing host expressed her amazement at her appointment at the time, describing it as a ‘privilege and honor’.
She later left the airwaves between 10:00 and 13:00 to spend more time with her daughter.
Jack Whitehall previously pulled Norton out of a problem by taking over hosting responsibilities in 2019 when the BBC star was overseas rehearsing for Eurovision in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Let us hope Winkleman performs an equally fine job.
