Susan, a simple woman from a small town, finds herself suddenly compelled to face life’s challenges independently.

Susan Boyle experienced criticism in the press shortly after advancing to the competition’s finals from 24-year-old singer Lily Allen, followed by statements from Craig Revel Horwood, a dance competition judge.
