Attending a loved one’s wedding is a lovely way to celebrate the start of a new life together.

The guests of USMC Sgt. Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Leehan’s wedding expected a wonderful time, which they had, but they also witnessed one of history’s most memorable scenes.

Leehan had also prepared vows for her stepson, Gage, which she started reading aloud.

The lovely young boy could not contain his enthusiasm at viewing his father’s wedding, and it was evident that he not only welcomed his future mother but was overjoyed with his father’s decision.

When Leehan noticed Gage’s wide eyes on her, she turned to him and began reading their wedding vows.

After her speech, the entire audience exclaimed “awww” due to its profound impact.

Everyone was in tears of joy, but the focus was on Gage’s wonderful reaction.

He cried excessively while clinging to his stepmother and listening to her words.

“I want you to be safe, to try your hardest, and to be a good person,” Leehan advised you. She then added, “Don’t cry, baby,” since she realized the emotional event was too much for the youngster to handle.

“The last thing I hope you learn is that you are a special boy,” Leehan said.

“You are highly intelligent, gorgeous, and compassionate to others. You have helped mold me into the woman I am today, and while I may not have given you the gift of life, life undoubtedly gave me the gift of you.

After taking a minute to collect themselves, the couple exchanged vows.

The newlyweds reportedly went back to work right after the wedding.

They had to postpone their honeymoon because they both had to report back to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
